Buy the Maxine Dress sewing pattern from Dhurata Davies Patterns. Maxine is a stylish and versatile loose fitting dress. The pattern was designed to work well with a wide variety of medium to heavy weight stable knit fabrics, as well as light to medium weight woven fabrics, making it a perfect layering garment for all seasons. It features a criss-cross front detail, generous secret pockets, drop shoulder short sleeves, two neckband variations for knit fabric (A and B) and a facing for woven fabric (C). You can use ribbing for the neckband as well, whatever fabric you choose for the body. This pattern is suitable for confident beginners and more experienced sewists alike.

Suggested fabrics: For view A or B, choose a medium to heavy weight stretch fabric like sweater knit, fleece backed jersey, boiled wool, ponte, scuba, etc (not suitable for lightweight jersey or fabric with a high amount of stretch). For view C, choose a medium to light weight fabric like linen, twill, denim, chambray, wool, etc.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm (42"") wide fabric: 220 cm (2.4 yd) // 150 cm (59"") wide fabric: 160 cm (1.8 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 - 20. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 25 cm (0.25 yard) of light/medium fusible interfacing (for view C only); 50 cm (0.5 yd) of fusible seam tape interfacing or you can cut strips of interfacing fabric.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (25 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
