An amazing example of 1910s fashion often seen worn by Suffragettes in film and photos. Deep blue wool walking suit made up of long jacket and above ankle length skirt. Skirt has side metal hook and eyes and snaps, single pleat off to each side on front. Unlined. Jacket is mid thigh length, has attached sash with velvet and silk braided accent boasting 2 little dangling acorn ornaments. Large glass ball buttons. Velvet and wool high collar with rounded long lapel, button hole but no button- I used a period correct mourning brooch as a button (it fit perfectly though the opening!)- brooch available on the site
Top stitched seaming down back, more velvet and silk accents on back of sash- ball buttons on sleeve cuffs. Jacket is lined in matching silk. No label- flawless, sturdy and wearable!
